1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Fish Voice mobile app (the “Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate deceptive or fraudulent content, including deepfakes intended to mislead.
  • Clone the voice of any individual without their explicit, verifiable consent.
  • Create content that promotes hate speech, harassment, violence, or illegal acts.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass any technical restrictions in the app.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or scrape our AI provider through it.

You are solely responsible for the text you submit, the audio you upload or record, and any voices you clone.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

The Fish Voice mobile app creates an anonymous account tied to a random identifier stored on your device. You do not need to register with an email or password.

Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing in-app subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple on iOS through the App Store and by Google on Android through Google Play, and are managed on our side by RevenueCat. By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable App Store or Google Play terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device’s App Store or Google Play settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the text you input and the audio recordings you upload or record. Fish Voice retains all rights to the app, its interface, and the underlying models and technology used to generate voice output.

Audio generated using the Service is licensed to you for your personal or commercial use, provided you do not violate the Acceptable Use policy in Section 2. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any voice, script, or reference audio you provide.

5. Third-Party AI Processor

The Service uses Fish Audio, a third-party AI service, to generate speech and voice clones. When you use these features, your text or audio is transmitted to Fish Audio for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acknowledgement of this processing.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app from your device. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any pre-paid subscription fees.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service or the generated voice content. Generated audio may contain inaccuracies or artefacts, and we do not guarantee that any specific voice clone will match a source voice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fish Voice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
